The centuries-old chestnut forest surrounds the property on all sides. In autumn, chestnuts fall along the paths. In summer, the leaves filter the light and create natural coolness. A living ecosystem to observe through the seasons.

Stone & history

A house and barn from 1850

The old stone house and barn date from the 1850s. Entirely renovated with natural materials — tadelakt, wood, lime render — they have kept their soul while offering modern comfort. A place that tells the story of this corner of Aveyron.

  • Local stone, thick walls — cool in summer, warm in winter
  • Renovation with natural materials
  • Tadelakt, wood, lime render
  • New-generation dry toilets
  • Phyto-purification of grey water
  • Full respect of original architecture
Ecology & biodiversity

A place that respects nature

La Roquette is a place where ecology and biodiversity are at the heart of everything. Grey water is treated by phyto-purification, and we chose to install dry toilets to preserve water, that precious resource. Water comes from a natural spring that can become scarce in summer — we count on everyone's awareness to preserve it.

Here, saving water is not a constraint, it's living in harmony with our values and caring for all living things!
